In an ideal world, no security deposit would be required. However, legislation from the county mandates compliance with local by-laws with respect to noise, parking, and the number of occupants in each vacation rental home. We charge a refundable security deposit of $300 per vacation rental reservation on the guest's Visa or MasterCard. Should guests violate these ordinances, some or all of this security deposit will be forfeited. We mandate compliance with our damage and nonsmoking policies. Please be sure to read these policies and familiarize yourself with them. Any noncompliance with these policies will be assessed against the security deposit.
Provided that there are no damage or compliance assessments for violations of occupancy limits, smoking, and noise, the deposit will be refunded on the guest's credit card within 14 business days following departure.
